The Animal Rescue Foundation of Southeastern Pennsylvania (ARF SEPA) is a nonprofit organization that rescues dogs and cats from public shelters that otherwise would have been euthanized due to lack of space.

NEWS AND EVENTS

Holiday Paw-ty 2011 was a Huge Success!

Thanks so much to everyone who supported and attended the ARF Holiday Paw-ty! It was a barking success and everyone had a blast!

We raised lots of money to rescue even more dogs and cats in 2012 and we are deeply grateful to all attendees for your support and the ARF volunteers who made the Paw-ty happen!

We're especially grateful to Steve Morrison of WMMR who was not just our special guest, but also master auctioneer! You made the event, Steve!

Great Adoptions!

Super Sunday - Media, Sept 18

Bewteen Super Sunday in Media on September 18th and Braxton's on the 25th, we found two kittens and one lovely cat a home in a week. And... raised a lot of money for our vet care fund!

Jack was adopted at Super Sunday, as was Crosby. Nathan, the other orange tabby, was adopted at Braxtons on Sept 25th!

Featured Pets

Thelma and Lousie!

Louise

Thelma

Thelma and Louise are lab/shepherd mixes.

They were rescued from a rural, high kill shelter. These are just cute, friendly little puppies and would make a great addition to any family! They are about 12 weeks old so a great age to start training and become part of a family.

Puppies are very active and require a lot of attention at this age. You should have the time available for training, playing and giving them lots of attention.

If you would like to learn more about either Thelma, Louise or both, please email jla20@mac.com

Lucy's Senior Pet Program

Lucy was a completely blind 16-year old beagle who was taken in by ARF SEPA volunteers from an area public shelter.

ARF SEPA named its Senior Pet Adoption program in Lucy's honor, in the hope that other homes in our area can discover the rewards and joy that come with adopting a senior cat or dog.

Please learn more about Lucy, the pet that inspired our Senior Pet Program and consider opening your heart and your home to a senior pet.
