NarBark Dog Parade! Sponsored by Spots - the Place for Paws, owned by the wonderful Andrea Deutsch, this fun summer event is a must! As a special twist to Narberth’s first Friday celebration every June, dog lovers from miles around dress their dogs in their funniest or finest parade costumes and strut the streets of Narberth for fun and prizes in the Narbark Dog Parade. Local celebrity judges award prizes in variety of costume categories, from “most original” to “best child and dog duo.” There will be food, music, prizes, a pet photographer and pet vendors with free samples. Donations to ARF SEPA will be accepted at the event. The 9th Annual DeBella Dog Walk This event is SUCH a blast! There are dog lovers from all over the DeBellaware valley who attend. It is broadcast live on WMGK and they will have agility and training demonstrations, vendors with unique pet-related items, great food, and many animals available for adoption, including ARF pets! Stop by our booth, and be sure to attend this family friendly, fun event! Swarthmore Charity Fun Fair This is a great community event for the entire family! There is entertainment on three stages with 4 hours of marvelous music, dance and acts, lots of booths with games, a food court, street performers, a fun run, bike tour, and of course, the famous parade! The money raised by this event is distributed to the participaing charitable organizations, including ARF. Please come support this fun, event! Join ARF in the PetSmart Charity PetWalk! Have a dog? Want to walk? Join us at the PetSmart Charity PetWalk on Saturday May 7th! You don't have to be an ARF volunteer to walk - just come on out and join us! If you can't walk, perhaps you'd like to support the ARF team in our efforts to help homeless pets right here in our community. Just go to our pledge page and click on the "Donate Now" button. Even $10 is a huge help! Girl Scout Troop 5237 This wonderful girl scout troop is hosting a pet adoption day. There will be ARF pets looking for forever homes, dog training demonstrations, cool stuff to buy, and a veterinarian onsite to answer questions, oh - and FREE refreshments! Come out and support the girl scouts and meet your next forever friend! ARF at Super Sunday in Media Every year this event is just more fun! We will have ARF dogs and cats at our booth who want to meet you, cool ARF stuff you can buy, awesome baskets being raffled off, and more! Be sure to stop by! ARF would like to thank newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Lance and Kristen Hannum for their generous donation to ARF! In lieu of wedding favors, Lance and Kristen chose to make a significant donation to ARF. Their donation provided much-needed care to a seriously ill ARF foster dog named Burrell and we can't thank them enough. Thank you Lance and Kristen and best wishes on your new life together!

ARF SEPA volunteers visited with the kids during lunch time and brought along one of our sweet foster dogs, ChiChi the chihuahua. As you can see, ChiChi loved all the attention from the kids and let everyone take a turn holding her. The children learned about adopting dogs and cats from shelters and rescues in our area. Special thanks goes out to Robin K. for organizing the event, and thank you also to all the Quest employees that donated pet supplies and donated to ARF SEPA's veterinary fund!
