Super Sunday in Media and
the John DeBella Dog Walk
April 25
These two events last Sunday could not have been more fun! It was hot, but at the John DeBella Dog Walk there were dogs of every kind, all hanging out enjoying the day, as well as agility demonstrations and lots of other great rescues in attendance.
And Super Sunday was a hit yet again, with the ARF booth seeing a lot of traffic and meeting lots of wonderful people!

ARF SEPA volunteers visited Synygy, Inc. of Chester and gave a presentation on the plight of homeless pets in our area.
Synygy employees responded by gathering donations of pet supplies for rescued cats and dogs - thank you! In addition, Synygy donated
funding that helped a foxhound mix dog named Taylor get heartworm treatment at a local vet. Taylor completed her heartworm therapy and
she's doing great! Below is a picture of Taylor celebrating her first Halloween in her new adoptive home!

2009 Holiday Paw-ty a Howling Success!
The Holiday Paw-ty on December 4 was great! We had a huge crowd, great food, delicious drinks and awesome music.
And the Phillie Phanatic was a total hoot! We truly appreciate him coming to the Paw-ty and thank the Phillies organization for hooking us up!
As you can see below, he was truly the life of the paw-ty!

ARF held a Tastefully Simple fundraiser at the Media Inn on September 18th. Lots of folks turned out for this yummy event in which all the proceeds from the sales went directly to ARF.

Super Sunday Was...Super!
ARF had a great day in Media on Super Sunday
- Four puppies were adopted, two as a direct result of meeting them at Super Sunday
- One cat found a forever home
- Lots of money was raised to help our animals!

A Barking Good Time at Four Paws!
ARF held a training open house at Four Paws Shoppe on March 29th for puppies that were recently adopted at our adoption fair there last weekend.

Kitty Fest 2007 a HUGE Success!
So far we've had 28 cats adopted through Buzzy's, 17 of those last weekend alone at Kitty Fest 2007! Plus, five dogs have been adopted through this special store. Get to Buzzy's and see what a wonderful place it is for animal lovers!

At Buzzy's Bow Wow Meow you can meet lots of wonderful cats looking for a forever home. Up to 10 cats are housed in large, open play areas where you can see them play and just soak up the sun (as they're doing below!)

The WMGK John DeBella Dog Walk was an overwhelming success!
Thank you to John, Ridley Creek State Park, and everyone who made the Dog Walk possible. It was so well attended they had to finally close the park. ARF and all the other rescues had a fun, successful day and we shout out a big THANK YOU to John and his crew. You ROCK!!
