Croissants and Kitties at Braxton’s in Devon
Local rescue hosting adoption events

(MEDIA) February 1, 2006 – Animal Rescue Foundation of SE PA (ARF) is hosting a “Croissants and Kitties” adoption event this Sunday, February 5th at Braxton’s in Devon from 10am until 2pm.

“We’ve got some great cats in foster care that need permanent, loving homes,” says ARF volunteer Nicole Saunders.  “All pets are up to date on testing, vaccinations and are already spayed or neutered.”

People who stop by the ARF booth are invited to enjoy some coffee and a croissant while meeting ARF’s lovable kittens and cats.  Dogs are also available for adoption.

“We have wonderful pets of all breeds, ages, shapes and sizes,” continues Saunders.  “There’s something for everyone.”

ARF rescues pets from public shelters that must euthanize when full.  Pets receive complete veterinary care, paid for by ARF, and reside with a foster family until adopted.  ARF is a no-kill organization with programs dedicated to helping homeless and at-risk pets in the area.

Animal Rescue Foundation of SE PA, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization registered with the PA Department of State.  Donations to ARF are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines.  Interested parties can learn more about ARF by visiting www.petfinder.com/shelters/PA455.html, or calling ARF directly at (610)994-4300.
