Quotations in Media Raises Funds for Homeless Pets
Restaurant held fundraiser for Animal Rescue Foundation of SE PA

(MEDIA) March 31, 2006 – Quotations on State Street in Media hosted a fundraiser on March 28th for Animal Rescue Foundation of SE PA (ARF).  The event raised hundreds of dollars to benefit homeless pets in the DelCo area.

“We are very thankful to Quotations for generously opening their doors to help us,” says ARF director Jen Coccodrilli.  “Every cent raised will go towards paying for veterinary care and promoting adoption for homeless and at-risk pets.”

“ARF is based in Media, so all funds raised stay local,” adds Coccodrilli.

Guests were able to enjoy a sit-down dinner from Quotations expansive menu, enjoy a large selection of microbrews or a cocktail at the bar.  “Dozens of people came here to support ARF,” says ARF volunteer Theresa Impriano.  “Every person can make a difference.”  Each patron that mentioned “ARF” had a percentage of their check donated to the organization.

Quotations has hosted a number of events to benefit organizations in the community.  According to owner Mike Burke, “Instead of spending a large amount of money on advertising, we’d rather use our resources to benefit groups that make a difference right here in the area.”

ARF rescues pets from public shelters that must euthanize when full.  Pet receive complete veterinary care, including spay/neuter, and live with a foster family until adopted.  ARF is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization solely dedicated to the welfare of homeless and at-risk pets.  Interested parties can reach ARF at (610)994-4300.
