Pet Pictures with Santa at Retail Store for Rescued Pets
Animal Rescue Foundation hosts Santa at their “Home 4 the Holidays” showroom

(MEDIA) December 14, 2006 – Have your furry friend’s picture taken with Santa at the Animal Rescue Foundation of SE PA, Inc, (ARF), “Home 4 the Holidays” store in Media on Sunday, December 17 th from noon to 3:00 pm.

ARF is an all-volunteer organization that utilizes a network of foster homes to house pets instead of operating a traditional shelter.  ARF’s store is at 300 Baltimore Pike, the corner of Baltimore and Radnor, and is devoted to placing rescued pets into safe, forever homes for the holidays.

Santa has generously agreed to take time out of his busy schedule to have his picture taken with all pets who stop by on Sunday from noon to 3 pm. The pictures with Santa are $10 and proceeds go directly towards paying for veterinary expenses for ARF’s dogs, cats and bunnies currently in foster care.

“Our volunteers rescue pets directly from public shelters that must euthanize when full,” says ARF director Jennifer Coccodrilli.  “Rescued cats, dogs and rabbits receive complete veterinary care, paid for by ARF.  All the money we raise from the pictures with Santa will go towards the veterinary care for our animals.”

The Animal Rescue Foundation of SE PA, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated solely to the welfare of homeless and at-risk pets.  For more information or to download a flyer about the Home 4 the Holidays store, interested parties can visit www.arfsepa.com or call ARF at 610.994.4300.
