Melissa is a huge supporter of ARF and we would be lost without her! She dedicated her time, space in her store, and resources to helping our rescued pets and supporting outreach events for ARF. She provided room in her store for a cat room so that ARF cats could get exposure and more quickly find a "forever home."

While Four Paws is no longer in Media, we will be forever grateful to Melissa for her strong support of ARF. She continues to be an ARF volunteer and we value her contributions!

For Love of Dogs is a comprehensive pet sitting service serving Delaware County.  Their mission is to be your pet's best friend and to make you and your "babies" as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away.  The demands of today's careers and lifestyles are so time consuming that pet owners cannot get to our companions as often as we would prefer.  For Love of Dogs will bridge that gap and see to it that your pet receives competent, loving, professional care in your own home.  While you’re away, the For Love of Dogs team will provide a journal with daily entries (so you’ll know how your pet is doing), provide meals, treats and fresh water directed, they’ll provide 20-30 minutes of exercise or play plus other services including care of litterbox or ‘accidents’, water plants if directed, etc.  They can also raise/lower shades, turn lights on/off and more to make it look like you’re home.

About Robin:  “I grew up on a large dairy farm in northwestern PA and have been in love with animals for as long as I can remember.  My first dog was Toby, a rescue from a local farm, and I have never been without a pet since.  After several years in the “corporate world” I knew in my heart that I wanted to open my own business and my love for animals dictated what that would be.  I chose to start my own pet sitting and dog walking service, For Love of Dogs.  I am currently owned by two incredible border collies, Buddy and Katie, who are the loves of my life.”

Robin and Steve Sultzer are certified Advanced Trainers and Dog Behavioral Therapists, graduating from the Bark Busters Dog Training program. Robin and Steve have trained several hundred dogs, plus they donate a lot of their personal time to help rescues in shelters in our area. They volunteer with the Delaware County SPCA, and they also work with the Animal Rescue Foundation of SE PA and the Adopt-A-Boxer Rescue to assist in keeping dogs in good homes Bark Busters also provides in-service workshops for veterinary clinics, groomers, shelters and the Sultzers speak to community groups on a variety of topics that include: choosing the right dog for your family, avoiding dog bites, preparing your dog for your new baby and more. Robin and Steve the Delaware County, Main Line and parts of Chester and Montgomery Counties.

As Bark Busters licensed behavioral therapists and trainers, Steve and Robin work with clients to perpetuate a happy relationship and address such issues as barking, jumping, pulling, chewing, biting, digging, sibling rivalry, separation anxiety and even aggression. They will work with multiple dog families, and they even will help train puppies using holistic training methods! They help dogs of any age, any breed or any issue.
